Donald Quarter Horses is a small training, breeding, and boarding facility five miles northwest of Brandon, Manitoba. We are 1 mile off the Transcanada Highway and are always home for anyone to drop in to see a horse or just visit.

Brian works for Petro Canada and trains horses on the side. He specializes in 2 yr old pleasure horses but does different disciplines as well, Everything from Warmbloods to Canadians are welcome here. Sandy is a Nurse in the Assiniboine Regional Health Authority and shows, judges, rides and is the chore girl.

We always have a few trained horses for sale. In the 2009 season we will be standing our own stud BNE ZIP FOR CASH.

We have a few boarders at the ranch, they help out around the ranch and ride with us.

Jack and Arlene Kauenhofen and Angie Innes, have been with the ranch for 7 or 8 years. Jack is jack of all trades, helps around the ranch and bales most of the hay. Angie does chores while we are away and is a vet assistant and helps with the vet chores on the place (photo on horseback includes all these people)

Brian trained the 2001 Superhorse Pot O Gold Futurity winner at Calgery Alberta for a win of $11,289.00 Three coolers, Belt buckle and a Jacket with RMW Lucky Lee.

He participates extensively in futurities, Quarter Horse Shows and usually is out showing a 2 yr old prospect.

Brian trains mainly for Wasylyniuk Paints & Quarter Horses of Raymore, Sask and Roy & Sheryl James of Devils Lake, North Dakota. They both send their good 50-50 2 yr olds for Brian to train and show. It is so important to have these wonderful friends and clients in our life. Showing their horses in Manitoba Superhorse 50-50 Futurity, Saskatchewan 50-50 Futurity and North Dakota 50-50 futurity.
