AUSTRALIAN CH. OTWAYMIST TOORAC Pedigree
Toorac is our main stud dog here. He is just the loveliest of dogs. He has an outgoing nature and excellent conformation, which of course is just what one wants for showing a good dog at a dog show.  But of course he is so much more than that.
Toorac [Trak] is my very special mate; we have a lovely relationship, and seem to be in tune with each other.  Our really special times are when we go for walks in the bush not far from our property.
Being a terrier Trak just loves to get out and smell all the bush smells, especially when there have been a few rabbits in the area.
Trak is typical of the good natured terrier that we try to breed here.  He is lovely with people and other dogs, not aggressive, and willing to make friends with just about everyone.
On the other hand he always lets us know if anyone is about, and gives us that special, little ‘woof’, as if to say “hey Mum, I think you should know there is someone here!”

OTWAYMIST SOLITAIRE

Solitaire is a very nice style of bitch. She is well put together, with a happy outgoing temperament.
Though Soli’s show career was fairly brief, she has gone on to earn a place as one of our top bitches, as her progeny is proving to be of excellent type and quality.
Both her daughter, the fabulous showgirl Sapphire, and outstanding son Mickey Finn are both fine examples of the breed.

SWEDISH CH. OTWAYMIST SAPPHIRE

Sapphire
Our girl Sapphire has now gone to live with her new owners, Heinrich and Ingrid Salzman in Sweden. [Check the links page to see their website and lovely dogs.]
Sapphire is now one of the top dogs in Sweden, due to the dedication and expertise that has been put in by Ingrid.
Even though ‘Saffy’ takes her show career very seriously, and is doing very well, [she is now a Swedish Champion and has also recently attained ‘Best Bitch at their Breed Specialty Show;] She really enjoys nothing better that the pampering that comes her way after a dog show, and just loves a good old roll around on the family bed if she can get a half a chance!

AUSTRALIAN CH. OTWAYMIST MICKEY FINN Pedigree

‘Finn’ is another Solitaire offspring who is doing very well in the showring.  He is wowing them up there in New South Wales.
We sold Finn to a very nice lady named Pat Newman who was very anxious to get a good dog for the Show Ring.     Pat has worked tirelessly to train Finn for the Ring, and consequently has started to achieve excellent results with him.
Being a newcomer to the Show Scene Pat has been on a big learning curve for the past year with Finn.  Luckily she has been a dog trainer previously, mainly with German Shepherds, so starting off with a totally over the top Jack Russell Terrier who can’t keep still for 2 minutes has been one of life’s’ great challenges!!
Pat and Finn are very closely bonded and are always together, and go everywhere together.  We are very proud of what Pat and Finn are achieving.

AUSTRALIAN CH. OTWAYMIST TANBRYN Pedigree

Our girl 'Tanna' is an exceptionally well put together dog. Her excellent conformation leads to extremely good movement. In addition to that she has a totally outgoing temperament. All this adds up to a dog that is a pleasure to show, for she will always give her very best.
Her achievements are a testimony to her quality. Tanna has done very well winning Best of Breed at the Royal Melbourne Show 2002, and Best Bitch in Show at the Jack Russell Terrier Breed Specialty last July, plus many BOB awards and IN Group and IN Show awards.

OTWAYMIST ART DECO+
'Deco' was whelped on the 28/5/2001. She is a great granddaughter of Foxwarren Tommy on the Sire's side and Malung Orinoco on the Dam's side.
This genetic mix has certainly worked; she displays the characteristics of the lithe working terrier, along with good conformation and movement.
