I cannot remember when I didn’t have a
dog of some description.
I come from a family of dog lovers, and dogs were a part of our
family.
My love affairs with Terriers started way back when I was only a
child, we owned a small terrier of mixed origins named Scamp.
Since then I have never lost my love of Terriers, so when Jack Russell’s first started to make an appearance in Australia in the early 1970’s, I became very interested in these great little dogs. Their personality and outgoing nature was very appealing.
It wasn’t until the early 1990’s that I decided I wanted to start breeding and showing Jack Russell Terriers. So with much trial and error, and a good deal of help from my sister Gayle [who had been in the Show scene for some time with her Great Danes], and lots of research, my show career began.
I have gone on from that point, to be passionately interested in the breed, producing Australian Champions, In Show, and In Group winners, and many Best of Breed.
The study of Jack Russell Terrrier Breed lines and genetics is very important to me, while working closely to the Australian Breed Standard, to produce a lithe working terrier, of excellent Type, Temperament, Conformation and Quality.
