Enquiries for future litters always welcome

All puppies are Vaccinated and Vet checked at 6 weeks, and are ready to leave for their new home at 8 weeks. The puppies have been on a worming program since 2 weeks old.

Check the article 'Why buy a JRT ' under the tab 'Breed Info' for more information regarding raising your Jack Russell Puppy.

We usually plan about five or six litters each year.

Older stock is sometimes available, puppies over six months and adult dogs also.

Availability of baby puppies usually depends upon the size of the litter; plus we are always looking for something from each litter for ourselves, or for 'show potential' puppies to fill and order by other breeders or show people.

We take our responsibility as registered breeders very seriously, and each mating that is done is for the improvement of our lines, and the breed in general, so naturally we are very interested in each litter. The remaining puppies are sold as 'pets'.

The 'pet' quality puppy is not deficient in any way, not a runt or ill, or lacking in Jack Russell temperament or type, but just not as close to the perfect show dog or breeding type, as we would prefer!

Each puppy is vaccinated at six weeks and vet checked, for good health and general soundness. Puppies don't go to their new homes until eight weeks or older, (vaccinations take approximately two weeks to take effect).

The puppy's new owner takes with them, a pedigree and A.N.K.C. Registration Certificate, (which is validation of the puppy's purebred status), information regarding feeding, house training and ongoing care, and training and socialisation skill.

When we sell a 'pet' puppy, it is on the understanding by both parties that the puppy has been purchased purely as a loving companion, and member of the family, not as breeding stock. Best to leave the breeding to the breeders, they are the ones who know what they're doing and why they are doing it; it also takes a lot of hard work, worry and money to produce a good litter of healthy and correctly bred Jacks.

If you are thinking of owning a Jack Russell Terrier for the first time, we suggest you do some research on the breed first. Ask questions, to see whether it will fit in with your lifestyle, for instance, do you want a small dog, medium dog, short or long coat, do you want an active dog (Jack Russell Terriers are just as active as larger dogs but require less space).
