TERMS AND CONDITIONS

WEBSITE

As the initial set up for a web site is time consuming, a minimum non-refundable deposit of $100 is required. Depending on size, once all the information has been received, sites are generally finished within one week. On completion of your site the outstanding balance is required within 7 days. Your counter and email contact address may not be included on the site until final payment is made. If you require your website up and running within days, this can be organised but may incur an additional fee.

We will host your site for free, or we can upload your site to your free space with your ISP.

I use only tried and tested web hosts for my sites, however I am not responsible for any losses incurred in the event of a server being temporarily unavailable.

While we will do our utmost to remind clients of their domain name expiry dates, it is primarily the client's responsiblity to ensure their domain name is renewed each two years.

MAINTENANCE

Your initial website payment covers 30 minutes FREE maintenance per paid web page for 12 months. (i.e. a 10 page site will have 5 hours of free maintenance per 12 months). If excess maintenance is required, an additional fee of $30 for 30 minutes, or $50 for 1 hour paid in advance may be charged., payable in advance. (Note: most current clients require less than 2 hours maintenance per annum).

An annual maintenance fee applies at each anniversary of your site. This is one-quarter of the initial cost of of your website. i.e. if you have a gold level site, costing $500 and completed on 1 June 2007, the maintenance fee of $125 is due on 1 June 2008. This maintenance fee allows for a further 12 months of updates and hosting as per the paragraph above. Updates and additions include minor text changes and swapping of photos.   It does not include a complete remake/overhaul of your site or additional pages.  Over a period of time this annual maintenance fee may rise to keep pace with inflation. Any price rise will be kept to a minimum and will not exceed one-quarter of the current cost of setting up a website.  (See below for details of our Loyalty Program which can save you dollars off your maintenance fee).

Should you have NO changes to your site from one year to the next, only a small $40 annual fee will be charged to cover hosting and file storage.  This is at the discretion of Alltopdogs Websites and will be based on our web update logs.

SEARCH ENGINES

After completion, I will optimise your site using keywords and metatags, which can help your rankings with search engines. I'll submit your site to major search engines, however, I cannot guarantee where or when your site will be listed. I will also supply informatin on search engine submission to assist you with ongoing submissions as necessary.

LOYALTY PROGRAM

By recommending Alltopdogs Websites to your friends and colleagues, you can earn credits towards your annual maintenance fee.   For each recommendation that results in a fully paid website of $300 or more, you will receive a 5% credit off your annual maintenance fee.   Conditions are:

1) ANY NEW CLIENT MUST STATE THAT YOU HAVE RECOMMENDED THEM, SO MAKE SURE TO TELL THEM TO MENTION YOUR NAME

2) YOU WILL BE EMAILED A CLAIM VOUCHER. SAVE THIS ELECTRONICALLY, AS IT MUST BE SENT BACK TO US PRIOR TO PAYING YOUR ANNUAL MAINTENANCE. AN ADJUSTED INVOICE WILL THEN BE FORWARDED TO YOU FOR YOUR RECORDS AND PAYMENT. IT IS CLIENT'S RESPONSIBILITY TO CLAIM THE CREDIT.

3) CREDIT CAN ONLY BE USED AGAINST YOUR MAINTENANCE FEE AND MUST BE CLAIMED WITHIN 12 MONTHS I.E. ON THE NEXT MAINTENANCE RENEWAL DATE

4) NO CASH WILL BE PAID.

5) IF YOU DO A REALLY GREAT JOB AND RECOMMEND SO MANY PEOPLE THAT IT RESULTS IN YOU GETTING MORE CREDIT THAN THE VALUE OF YOUR MAINTENANCE FEE, YOU'LL GET A REALLY BIG THANK YOU AND A CHRISTMAS CARD, BUT YOU WON'T GET ADDITONAL CASH AND ANY ADDITIONAL CREDITS OVER AND ABOVE THE COST OF YOUR MAINTENANCE FEE WILL NOT BE ROLLED OVER TO THE FOLLOWING YEAR.

6 ) TO QUALIFY FOR A CREDIT, ANY NEW RECOMMENDED CLIENT'S WEBSITE MUST BE A MINIMUM COST OF $300

We reserve the right to change rates and terms and conditions, including Loyalty program, at any time.
Either party reserves the right to terminate the agreement at any time. If terminated prior to the anniversary of the site, no refund will be paid.
